40 straipsnis Kompetentinga institucija 1. Valstybės narės paskiria vieną ar daugiau kompetentingų institucijų, atsakingų už šiame skyriuje ir 6 straipsnio 10 dalyje, 29 straipsnio 1–7 dalyse ir 9 dalyje bei 30–34 straipsniuose nustatytų pareigų vykdymą ir jų vykdymo užtikrinimą. 2. Valstybės narės nustato išsamias tos kompetentingos institucijos ar kompetentingų institucijų organizacines ir veiklos nuostatas, įskaitant administracines ir procedūrines taisykles, kuriomis reglamentuojama: a) gamintojų registracija pagal 44 straipsnį; b) 44 straipsnio 7 ir 8 dalyse nurodytų ataskaitų teikimo reikalavimų vykdymo organizavimas ir stebėsena; c) 45 straipsnyje nustatytų didesnės gamintojo atsakomybės pareigų vykdymo priežiūra; d) leidimas vykdyti didesnės gamintojo atsakomybės pareigas pagal 47 straipsnį; e) informacijos prieinamumas pagal 56 straipsnį. 3. Ne vėliau kaip 2025 m. liepos 12 d valstybės narės praneša Komisijai pagal 1 dalį paskirtų kompetentingų institucijų pavadinimus ir adresus. Valstybės narės nepagrįstai nedelsdamos informuoja Komisiją apie bet kokius tų kompetentingų institucijų pavadinimų ar adresų pasikeitimus.
