DRAFT EUROPEAN PARLIAMENT LEGISLATIVE RESOLUTION on the draft Council regulation on jurisdiction, the recognition and enforcement of decisions in matrimonial matters and matters of parental responsibility, and on international child abduction (recast)
(Special legislative procedure – renewed consultation) The European Parliament,
1Approves the Council draft as amended;
2Calls on the Commission to alter its proposal accordingly, pursuant to Article 293(2) of the Treaty on the Functioning of the European Union;
3Calls on the Council to notify Parliament if it intends to depart from the text approved by Parliament;
4Calls on the Council to consult Parliament again if it intends to amend its draft substantially;
5Instructs its President to forward its position to the Council, the Commission and the national parliaments.
